Associate of Applied Business Degree


The Dental Office Coordinator Associate of Applied Business Degree prepares completers for positions in private dental offices, dental clinics, and federal, state and municipal health departments.

Dental office coordinators work in a variety of office situations, both specialty and general practice offices. Main duties include dental office management, patient scheduling and managing dental insurance claims.

The Associate of Applied Business prepares graduates to balance a variety of tasks in order to keep the practice and patients on track.

This would include, but is not limited to cheerfully greeting patients/parents when they come in for appointments, coordination of multi-step appointments, phone duties, checking patients in and out, managing correspondence for referring doctor requests, staff meeting/doctor luncheon setup, creating and posting engaging social media content and maintaining excellent patient relations.
